Michael D. Moore, OD

Dr. Michael Moore has been an Optometric Physician in Olympia since graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1972. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as Optometric Physicians of Washington, and he is constantly honing his skills through advanced training.

Dr. Moore has vast experience in solving vision problems for the young and old, and has equipped his clinic with cutting edge instrumentation for the management of eye conditions like glaucoma and cataracts, as well as ocular surface disease and dry eye. Contact lens challenges and eye diseases are thoroughly discussed and managed, and treatment is state-of-the-art. Above all, Dr. Moore specializes in respecting and listening to his patients and working with them toward common solutions. He maintains a strong referral network of proven experts in eye care specialties, and can expedite treatment at these superb clinics if it becomes necessary.

Dr. Moore and his wife Kathy live in Olympia and have two sons, John and Paul. Mike spends his spare time with his family and teaching skiing in the winter, and "always near the water" in the summer.
